Day 1: Marrakech to Ouarzazate via Ait BenHaddou

Morning: Pickup from your hotel/riad in Marrakech. Begin the journey to the Atlas Mountains via the Tizi N’Tichka pass, a spectacular route offering breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks and Berber villages.

Midday: Arrive at the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou, a well-preserved Kasbah that was once a key stop on the caravan routes carrying salt from the Sahara.

Afternoon: Continue to Ouarzazate, passing through barren gorges to Agdz. Here, you’ll meet the Draa Valley, the longest river valley in Morocco.

Evening: Overnight stay in the Draa Valley.

Day 2: Draa Valley – Zagora – Tamengroute – M’hamid – Erg Chigaga

Morning: Travel south through the scenic Draa Valley to Zagora. Visit Tamegroute, known for its ancient library featuring Korans and manuscripts from the 12th century.

Midday: Proceed to M’hamid, the last town of the Draa Valley. From here, embark on an off-road adventure through barren landscapes to the Erg Chigaga desert.

Afternoon: Arrive at the luxury desert camp nestled between sand dunes. Enjoy mint tea upon arrival.

Evening: Experience a traditional Moroccan dinner followed by a campfire under the starry African sky. Overnight in luxury canvas tents.

Day 3: Erg Chigaga – Foum Zguid – Taznakht – Marrakech

Morning: Enjoy breakfast at the camp before bidding farewell to the desert. Embark on an off-road journey to Foum Zguid, admiring the surreal landscapes reminiscent of ancient times.

Midday: Meet the paved road at Foum Zguid and travel through the Anti Atlas Mountains to Taznakht. Stop for lunch.

Afternoon: Continue the journey through the Atlas Mountains, returning to Marrakech.

Evening: Arrival in Marrakech and drop-off at your hotel/riad.
